Antonios Khoury

Antonios Khoury, 96 of Zanesville died at 12:37 P.M. Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at his residence.

He was born on New Year’s Day, January 1, 1925 in Safita, Syria the son of Waheeh Khoury and Mariam Khoury.

Antonios was Catholic by faith and was owner and operator of a shoe store in Syria until his retirement. After his retirement, he moved to the United States.
He is survived by a daughter, Dr. Samar Khoury; a son Dr. Taleb (Katarzyna) Khoury; a granddaughter, Angelena Khoury; and a brother, Dr. Khalil (Liz) Khoury.

In addition to his parents, Antonios was preceded in death by three brothers.

The family asks that visitors please wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Friends may call 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. in the St. Francis Chapel behind the church with funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Nashport with Rev. JCP Sullivan as celebrant. Burial will conclude at the Mattingly Settlement Cemetery next to the church.
