Charles "Chuck" Allen Strahl, 89, of Zanesville passed at 1:30 AM Friday, March 17, 2023 at the Altercare of Zanesville.
He was born on Thursday, December 21, 1933 in Warnock, Ohio the son of the late Charles A. Strahl and Minnie Parish Strahl.
Chuck graduated from OSU in 1955. He worked as an Internal Revenue Agent for 31 years. He was a lifelong Presbyterian, attended Putnam Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Elks, sons of American Legion, sons of American Revolution, Sons of confederacy, military order of stars and bars, Delta Sigma Pi fraternity, and Life member of OSU Alumni Association. He loved his family, his collie dogs, tennis, pickleball and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
He is survived by three children, Mark Strahl, Lisa (Keith) Felumlee, and Jane (Jeff) Berns; four grandchildren, Lindsey Berns, Scott Berns, Sherry Felumlee and Aaron Felumlee; and great grandchildren, Aveon, Alisea, and Emerald.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife whom he married December 19, 1954, Gwendolyn Ann Graves Strahl; and a sister, Genevieve Strahl.
There will be no services. Chuck has been cremated and his life will be celebrated by his family at a later date.
