Freda M. Catlett-Meadows, 83 of Zanesville went to be with the Lord at 5:20 AM Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Morrison House Hospice surrounded by her family.
She was born on January 12, 1935 in Blue Rock, Ohio the daughter of Howard Downing and Lucy Bailey Downing.
Freda had been employed as a bookkeeper for Thompson Radio Supplies for nearly 40 years. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren & great grandchildren play sports.
She is survived by her daughter; Gloria (Roger) Durst; step-children; Rhonda (Donald) Nelson, Karen Collinsworth and Gregg (Amy) Meadows; her grandchildren, Megan (Jesse Martin) Dingey, Heather Dingey, Katie Graham, Sarah Meadows, Ryan Meadows & Rachel Meadows, Jason Nelson & Jeremy Nelson and Lindsey Harrison; several great grandchildren including, Natalie, Kash and Wyatt; 6 siblings; Dorothy Morrow, Irene Jenkins, Howard Downing, Hazel Haser, Bonnie Angelo and Jim Downing; numerous nieces & nephews and a son-in-law, Robert Fusner.
Freda was preceded in death by her parents; 1st Husband, Robert Catlett; 2nd husband, Ron Meadows; a daughter, Nancy Fusner, and a grandson Jeremy Latier.
Friends may call 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Friday June 1, 2018 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
