Graham Raymond Robb

Graham Raymond Robb, 91 of Zanesville, died 3:20 pm Sunday April 25, 2021 at Primrose Retirement Community.
Graham was born on September 10, 1929, in Butler, PA, the son of the late William and Martha Robb. He graduated from Butler High School in 1947 and had a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and served in the United States Army. Graham was employed by Oxford Oil Company, Zanesville, OH, for over 50 years where he was Vice President. He also served more than 40 years as trustee and past president for The Ohio Oil & Gas Association as well as the Society of Petroleum Engineering Association. Graham was active as a deacon and elder for Trinity United Presbyterian Church, where he worshipped. Graham also served as past president of the Zanesville Country Club.
Graham married Shirley (Hagan) on June 10, 1951, in Robinson, IL, and was a loving husband for 57 years. He and Shirley moved to Zanesville in 1956 where they remained residents throughout the rest of their lives. His children remember their dad as a wonderful provider who liked to golf, had an infectious laugh, and demonstrated a never-ending love for his family. Graham is survived by four children, Carol (Roger) Moore of Coshocton, Bill Robb of Zanesville, Sue (Casey) Summers of Zanesville, and Mary Hagemann of Cape Coral, FL; his beloved grandchildren: Clint Moore & wife, Allison, and Lindsay (Moore) Broderick & husband, Andy; Rian Robb, Sara (Robb) Biehl & husband, Mark, Callie (Robb) Ridenour & husband, Scott; Nicki Wesson & husband, Scott; Erin and Jamie Summers; Carly Hagemann & her dad, Rich Hagemann; 11 great-grandchildren; and, sister, Dorothy (Robb) Tack. He was preceded in death by wife, Shirley (Hagan) Robb; parents, William and Martha Robb; sisters, Marjorie (Robb) Ammon and Elinor Robb. Special thanks and admiration for the entire staff at Primrose Retirement Community in Zanesville, OH; It gave our family great peace to know our dad was cared for and loved during his last years.
A service to celebrate Graham’s life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday May 1, 2021 at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 830 Military Road, Zanesville, OH. The family has asked that all visitors wear a face covering and practice social distancing protocol. A reception will follow at the church.
