Joan Ann Reed

Joan Reed, 67 of Lancaster and formerly of Zanesville died peacefully and unexpectedly on Thursday, January 14, 2021 surrounded by her family at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Lancaster, Ohio.

She was born November 20, 1953 in Zanesville the daughter of Daniel and Shirley (Singer) Englehart.

Many will remember Joan as a bright and shining soul who loved her family dearly and could make you smile with her infectious laugh. Her eyes regularly twinkled with just the right amount of mischief followed by a broad, Englehart smile. May her memory be a blessing to all those who knew and loved our dear Joni. 

She is survived by her daughters; Sarah (Nabeel) Jadeed and Christina (Mark) Sheets and her son Will (Cindy) Reed; her brothers, Joseph (Jan) Englehart, Jeff Englehart, Jerry (Peggy) Englehart and Scott (Andrea) Englehart, and her sister Jill Timblin. She loved and was loved by her many grandchildren; Destiny, Ryan, Maddi, Gracie, Regan, Katie, Destiney, Mia and Simon as well as twelve nieces. She was also very invested in the well-being of her grand-dogs Boomer Michael, Roxy & Sadie. 

In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her infant brother, Christopher; and her beloved dog, Miles. 

The family will have a private funeral service.
