Meghan Downey Lewis

Meghan Downey Lewis, 34 of Zanesville lost her many year struggle with addiction Monday morning, May 31, 2021 at her residence following an accidental overdose.
She was born April 13, 1987 in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of Carlisle "Dutch" George Lewis and Kelli Downey Brownfield.
Meghan graduated from Granville High School in 2005, attended Ohio University and had worked at several local food service establishments in Zanesville including Wendy's and Applebee's. She was also an animal lover and a gifted writer.
She is survived by her Father, Carlisle "Dutch" Lewis; mother & stepfather, Kelli & Jim Brownfield; her brother, Zach Lewis; a step-sister, Ashley (Tim) Mahan; step-brother, Chase Brownfield; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Meghan was preceded in death by her grandparents, an aunt & an uncle.
No public visitation or services to be observed.
Memorial contributions can be made to any Drug Alcohol Rehab program in her name.
